The 6,700 square foot residence was constructed on a heavily wooded eight acre site. A one hundred foot high bluff overlooks the James River below. Balconies overlooking the river provide a place to enjoy the serenity of the water and natural surroundings. The fieldstone walls, flagstone floors, both interior and exterior and slate roofs were chosen for their warmth, durability, and ease of maintenance.
