Fay Jones + Maurice Jennings Architects, 1997

The Chapel sets on the grounds of the Rose Hills Memorial Park. It is a three level structure of wood, stone, and glass. The lower level of the Chapel is a 11,200 sq ft mausoleum. The 11,500 sq ft main level space seats 332 people for wedding, performances, and funeral services. The upper level features a custom built organ loft. In 1997, Skyrose Chapel received the Woodworker Institute of California’s Award of Excellence.
